A K-9 Tip:

If you’re thinking about buying a dog here are some hints on how to find the right dog for you and your family. Buying a dog isn’t much different than buying a car. First, you want to do some research on the kind of dog you would like. Begin by going to the library or a bookstore and getting a book on dog breeds. Look it over and decide what breed or breeds interest you. Once you have an idea of the type or breed of dog you’d like, talk it over with a veterinarian, a dog trainer and or a dog breeder. Find out about the breeds strengths and weaknesses. Just like with a car, the more homework you do the better will be the fit between you and your dog.
